I have called Kidderminster home for most of my life, and this is where I currently live with my lovable 2-year-old miniature Dachshund, Solo. My love of dogs started from a young age with our family Border Collie cross who was our absolute world. Once I was able to have a dog of my own, my life changed for the better and I cannot imagine life without her.
Everyone who knows me, knows that Solo is my priority, and I know because you are reading this, you feel the same. I know how difficult it is to leave your dog and arrange care that equals your own – kennels are just not an option!
So, I made the decision to join Barking Mad to combine my love of dogs with using my vast experience in Customer Service to help provide a personalised doggy care service and peace of mind for the owner.

At the registration meeting we get to know you and your dog by visiting you at your property. Our purpose is to understand your dog’s needs, likes and dislikes so that we can tailor a bespoke service exclusively for your dog. Once we know everything there is to know about your dog, we carefully match your dog with one of our lovely hosts. Our wonderful dog sitting hosts have been specially selected and adore dogs.
Your dog will be “chauffeured” to and from their holiday and, to reassure you, we make sure that they are completely settled in with their host and send you a photo and a message. You can then relax and go and enjoy your holiday knowing that your dog will be having a great time!
We understand that leaving your dog can be stressful for both you and your dog. So, prior to your holiday, we organise a “getting to know you” trial dog home stay where your dog and host get to know each other and the dog can familiarise themselves with their holiday surroundings. This not only helps to settle the dog but ensures both the dog and host are suitable.
