I am very proud to be part of the Barking Mad dog home boarding team. Offering a professional service to our customers and their four legged friends.
I live in the sleepy little village of Bures on the Suffolk/Essex border, with my husband Matthew and our two children Joe and Jessica.
We now share our home with Dotty, our Jack Russell Terrier cross, (we have no idea what the cross is but think it’s probably ferret!). Flo, She is a Basset hound cross working Cocker, known in highbred terms as a “Hush Hound” but let me assure you there is nothing “HUSH” about her. We have also been joined by Arnold the cat, who came to us as a stray, and kept coming back, any fans of the Terminator films will know why his name suited him! And not forgetting pepper the bunny and Freddie finch. Throughout my career I have worked in retail, specialising in customer services. Although I thoroughly enjoyed this, I always knew that one day I would need to fulfil my ambition to work with animals.
When the opportunity arose to work in a Barking Mad franchise, I jumped at the chance. I soon fell in love with not only the dogs and the job but the whole concept of Barking Mad. The opportunity then arose to purchase the established business and I have never looked back.
I feel I am living the dream. I have at last found my true vocation.
