I live just outside Cumbernauld with my partner, Stephen. Our much-loved English springer spaniel, Bailey, and our two cats Olly and Belle. Bailey is my second English springer spaniel. Devon was my first experience and I had the pleasure of being his mum for almost 15 years.
I love all dogs but have a soft spot for spaniels. I enjoy their boundless energy and joy for life. Our Bailey is never without a ball or somewhere to swim when we venture out on our walks together. Bailey even volunteers at Blair Castle International Horse Trials each year!
To continue my professional service to all my customers and hosts Barking Mad Glasgow North has been certified by The Pet Industry Federation in COVID – 19 Disease Control for Pet Professionals and I will be following all the Government guidelines on managing the risk of COVID – 19.
I have spent most of my working life in retail and latterly in funeral care. I had the privilege of helping and supporting families during a difficult and upsetting time. Which could be overwhelming and worrying. I found that I enjoyed being able to help so many families and wanted to continue this level of care and support in my future career.
I know that arranging care for your dog can be stressful and daunting. So I want to be able to alleviate this from my customers. When I started looking for an opportunity to work for myself. I was delighted to find Barking Mad. This allowed me to put my love of dogs my wish to help and support people. Together with my desire to work for myself together, which is the ideal partnership.

I thought it was a great solution for the care needed for your dog while you are on holiday. I feel privileged to provide you and your dog with a worry-free one to one dog holiday experience.
Before your dog’s first holiday. I will visit your family and your dog at home to learn all about your pet. This gives me the information that I need to match them with their ideal host. I ensure that your dog’s routine is maintained by their loving host family. With the use of the pet schedule and supported 24-7 by me. When it’s time for your dog’s holiday, I will come and collect them from home. Chauffeur them to their host family and settle them in. I will send a message and photos so you can see what a great time they are having. Once their Barking Mad break is over, I will collect your pet from their host’s home and return them to you, having enjoyed a holiday of their very own.
