Once you’ve made your initial enquiry we’ll work with you to look at the territory you would like to work in and have an initial conversation. Together, we’ll discuss what being a member of the Barking Mad family means for you both. Should you then have follow up questions, we are always available and happy to answer any queries you may have.
If successful, we will invite you both to our Barking Mad HQ where you can meet Lee and the rest of the support team. This is not only so we can meet you in person, but also so you can put faces to the people who will be aiding you on your journey to running your business.
This is a confidential meeting where we’ll discuss the ins and outs of the business, what it means to be a franchisee, and how we maintain a ‘cash flow positive’ business. We’ll discuss the details about how much the running cost of the business will be, how we aid you with building a loyal customer base, and how business isn’t seasonal, but rather we provide a year round service for dog owners and dog lovers alike.
If we decide together that Barking Mad is right for you both then we will invite you to join us and become a member of the Barking Mad family. We’ll invite you to an initial training session at our South Lakes office to help you develop your business in the field.
We don’t want any of our couples to struggle in any way, shape, or form with setting off on your Barking Mad journey to becoming business owners. What this means is we will give you the tools you need to get your business known in your area. We arrange and pay for advertising in your target area for the first eight weeks, as well as send out press releases to all local media contacts.
As well as that, like our current franchisees, you will get your own space on our website. This includes a main page as well as a section for local links and a blog. We have a digital support team who are always working on ensuring you stay competitive in the online world so you can focus on what really matters – looking after dogs and running your business together.
